      Hi Linda,

The possibilities are open – though it’s important not to get caught in the honey trap of personal development.

and this is what happens to so many people. Which is such a shame.

    Hwy Rob,
Great couple if videos! To me this sounds like what the Mystery Schools taught and are still teaching. When I participated in a mystery school (pre-NLP days) it was very little talking and more experiential.

It’s the experience that provides the internal reference point (shift in energy, vibration, feelings), and because it was an experience there was no right way or wrong way, it was your experience.

For me, my shamanic journey work has been a great recourse for growth and enhancement, using my Power Animals and Spirit Guides as my internal Awakener.

I see both an internal and external calibration. In Science of Mind (You’ve got to check it out!) this is called a “demonstration.” Where what you’re “felling” is in agreement with what you are demonstrating, i.e. new car, great health, etc.

I think you are so right on and I feel that you’re venturing into the realms of the Great Mystery. I was fortunate to experience tremendous “spiritual growth” before NLP (this may be why I’m not that smitten with it).

Part of our quests here on Earth is to transcend “other” focused growth to “self” focused growth and for each of us the path will be different.

Great job again! Keep going you rebel 🙂

      Hey Gregg,

You’re on the right trail here with this – in fact nicely close.

I’ve mixeed quite some of my work along with some of the expereinces from CCastaneda – I think many people get caught up in the ‘verbal transactions’ of life and miss the signs of the experiences themeselves. The quote from NLP is ‘The Menu is not the Meal’ or from CC it’s about that inner knowledge not belief.

      Thanks Rob

      PS I’ll keep going!

Hi Rob, Your “I quit…” certainly caight my attention. Then, when your first video began I started to get excited along with some trepidation. Curiosity carried me along, and with the conclusion of Part II, my trepidation is noticeably diminished. Now looking forward to Part II.

      Hi Mike,

Nice to see you on hear.

Thanks for your comment, really appreciated. You know people are still asking whether I have quite NLP Training – and yes I have and there are reasons for it, both commercially, politically and personal.

This is why I started this blog, not to call the industry out, it’s doing a good enough job on it’s own.

Rather to give people stuff that unless you go looking for is a) either hard to find b) takes years of learning, practice and development (the 10,000 hours syndrome) c) no-one is doing.

But before I carry on off on one!! 😉

      Thanks again Mike.

    Hi Rob,
I’m really enjoying your new videos – they are bringing lots of things back to me that I have, in the daily run of life, let slip by me. It is remotivating me to look more closely at the interactions I have with others and myself! I am now a teacher and have tried out in the mild way some of the techniques such as repositioning and swish with children who are continuously behaving in ways which are not appropriate. The repositioning worked very well with a child who had massive anger issues, but I do need to remind myself frequently to not get trapped into the negative cycle of telling children off for doing the wrong thing, but rather praising them for doing the right thing. This can be a real challenge when the negative behaviour is so pronounced and in your face! What I would find really beneficial is if there was any way of gaining access to the videos you made of us during the course to remind, refresh and reignite the skills we learnt at the time, some of which have developed a good layer of rust. Would there be any way of you posting videos from courses – maybe through an individual log in please? Keep up the good work! It’s making me hink that I might come back on one of your next courses.
    Regards
    Sach

That’s cool Sach, it’s always great to hear what people are upto –

You know I always think that if we can take just 10% of what we learn back to the kids and for us, to lose the significance of ‘trying to get them to learn what we want them to learn’ that they will as long as we support ourselves as much as them.

Great stuff that your’re doing – keep it up man.

You know – re the vids – I lost the lot of them, 16 years of work on my harddrive – my daughter accidently kicked it over the day before I was going to back it all up on a new drive —– Man I died inside.

This in fact precipitated me quitting NLP. So I really can’t post any videos!!!

In fact that’s also why in part I’m doing this to put some of this online.

      Thanks Sach –

      Hey Frank,

Thanks – let me know what you’re experience was from the next video….

It will only make sense if you experience it yourself.

      Cheers

    Hey Rob,
You have an interesting point. I’d like to see your next video to see if you can deliver on your promises!

I’d also prefer a faster paced presentation. Just me?

    Frank
